A "no" vote opposes authorizing the sale and issuance of $6.137 million in bonds to purchase school buses and equip school buses with air conditioning.
The bond measure would issue no more than $6.137 million in general obligation bonds to purchase school buses for school districts and equipping school buses with air conditioning, including school buses owned by contractors if the school district determines that air conditioning is necessary.[1] A general obligation bond is a public debt and is paid for through state funds, specifically funds from a statewide property tax in New Mexico.
