for a writ of mandamus with the appropriate court to require the discharge of duties imposed on the City Council or the City

Secretary with respect to recall petitions or initiative and referendum petitions rather than requiring the District Judge of Collin

County, Texas to discharge such duties?

Sección 6.23 (Incumplimiento del Consejo Municipal de convocar a una eleccióniniciativa o referéndum) de la Carta Orgánica de la Ciudad para aclarar que un ciudadano peticionario puede presentar una solicitud para una orden judicial de mandamus ante el tribunal correspondiente para exigir el cumplimiento de las funciones impuestas al Consejo Municipal o al Secretario de la Ciudad respecto de las peticiones de destitución o peticiones de iniciativa y referéndum en lugar de exigir que el Juez

del Distrito del Condado de Collin, Texas, cumpla con dichas funciones?
